Judith studied Ceramics at the University of Westminster, formerly Harrow Art School, where she developed her passion for colour and form to create 3D pictures.

However, as an artist, she subsequently found working with clay restricting so she began to experiment with paint, paper and canvas whose properties gave her greater freedom to explore her ideas.   This exploration took her into the Fine Art Course at City Lit, London.

Judith also trained as a psychotherapist and until recently practiced in both disciplines.  When the psychotherapy practice took precedence, the seeds of many of these paintings lay dormant.  Her subsequent art work reflects how some of these seeds have taken root growing into images which connect her internal world of feelings, experiences and memories and her external world of  landscapes, plants and people.

As a fine artist, Judith attempts to convey the essence of her subject matter with particular attention to colour, structure and form.  Journeys enrich and stimulate her ideas. Her paintings evolve from memories of her own experiences and by focusing on them, Judith invites the viewer to bring their own memories, experiences and emotions to the painting.
